Air Filtration

There may be more in your home than you know. In fact, the air inside your home can be up to 5 times more polluted than the air outside. While today’s better insulated homes do a great job of keeping out the elements, they also hold in airborne particles that can aggravate breathing difficulties.

Benefits

Benefits of having a Heated Garage.

-Never come out to a cold vehicle again.
-Reduce your fuel costs by not needing to let your vehicle warm up.
-Reduce maintenance costs on vehicles, associated with starting a cold vehicle. ( example less wear on battery and starter)
-Store paints and other household liquids without the risk of freezing.
-Use your garage as a workshop in comfortable temperature.
-Adds value to your home.

Convection Vs Radiant

A convection type heater warms the space by blowing air across a heat exchanger just like a home furnace. The heat exchanger warms the air, and the fan circulates the warm air throughout the room. However, the fan stirs up dust and makes noise. You also can lose most of your heat if you open the garage door to move a car in or out.

A radiant type heater works off of the same principle as the sun. It produces infrared light which warms the objects in the garage instead of warming the air. This is quite beneficial as most of the heat is retained when moving a car in or out. This type is more energy efficient than a convection heater. It is relatively silent, and does not stir up dust with a fan. Radiant heat does have some drawbacks, though. It only warms objects that are in the direct path of the heater, and if you are working in an area that is “shaded” from the heater you will not feel warm.

Thermostats

Programmable

Programmable thermostats have become hugely popular in recent years due to their energy saving benefits, improved comfort control and convenience. Programmable thermostats save energy and money on utility bills, without compromising comfort and allowing residents to set home temperatures according to various different factors.

Wifi

Wifi thermostats allow complete control-ability by making it simple for a home owner to control, monitor and receive alerts from a thermostat from anywhere in the world with an internet connection.

Wireless

Wireless thermostats can be mounted anywhere within the home without the use of wires connecting them to the furnace and can be moved to a location of your preference easily.

Communicating

Communicating thermostats have the ability to communicate with your furnace and display actual furnace run times and possible furnace issues right at the thermostat.
